I tried looking everywhere, couldn't find anything about it. Do you guys reduce the raid npc spawn timers? Or are they live?
IMO, would be nice to have it 3 or 12 hours for raid bosses. Unless you guys have a different vision.

Our vision is to make this a mostly classic server given the resources we have. To that end, we won't be changing raid boss spawns from what they are currently (5 days currently I believe).

Bah... Come on man you will never make this classic EQEMU isnt 100%. No one will play this server with your rules when they can just go play P99. I was gonna play this server but i think I will pass.

I have to agree with Milfhunter, I really do enjoy the server, but the super long respawn times are turning me off. Maybe you guys could re-evaluate this? I just don't see in having the super long times, sure it does halt progression to the next expansion, but I think even with that it wouldn't be bad progressing through the expansions.

I think 5 days is fine, 3-12 hours is a little ridiculous. We dont need 60 cloaks of flames before kunark, or an oversaturation of any raid items someone happens to want. Will lead to same issues that were being speculated about CT.

gonna have to agree with cake/drty on this one, absolute minimum for any raid spawn should be 3 days and that is most likely reserved for smaller targets.

I hear ya cake on that example. I just am trying to think of what would be a good balance. 3 hours would be excessive. 3 days is better than 5-7. What about 24 hours? Or even 48 hours? Just throwing ideas out.

Right now, I can't see us going any lower than 3.5 days on a primary target. Mini bosses could be lower, but not the primaries.

When Every thing is where we would like it to be Hate - Trash and minis 12 hours Hate - Maestro, Hand, Inny 5 days Fear - Trash 12 hours Fear - Golems Drach CT 5 days Giants - 12 hours Dragons - Naggy Vox 5 days Phinny - 24 hours CazicThule Zone - Trash 12 hours CazicThule Zone - Named 3-5 days I haven't decided yet. Air - Trash 12 hours Air - Named 24 hours (Due to Keys being keyringed) Custom World Bosses (Kraken, Mayoung Mistmoor, ect) - 5 day spawn timer.
I understand some of these targets are higher value then others. That being said I don't think that is a good enough reason to increase spawn times for bosses that have better loot. I will make some un-live-like changes to bosses that have less desirable loot. Maybe making them slightly easier or adding a chance for Planer armor to roll on the loot tables as well. This is just an idea nothing set in stone.

when you say air boss timers, you mean djorn cycle right? the rest of the named are spawned from trash so I wouldnt see a point in it being different from the trash spawns, would just be confusing.
