does charm break at random times or set for max duration?

Charm times are something we started to fix in the past but we don't have a definitive fix yet. Here is a Forum post on EQEMU. Things might have changed in the latest source we are using. I'll have to run some tests on it. What has your experience been like using charm? is it lasting a while? Is it breaking short? I'm looking at the charm line of spells and here are the stats I see. Duration 205 (20.5 mins) Duration Formula (Lowest of Level * 3 + 10 or Duration) I don't think anything is broken at the Spell level, but if there is an issue we can look into the "Charm Mechanic script"

Charm is always random based on Charisma from what I remember.

Charm is a high risk high reward spell. We will do our best to keep it as "Close to Live" as we can.
