Hi, Looking forward to trying out this server  , but i have a few questions. 1) to play, should we follow a p99 setup? any destination changes needed etc? 2) I DL'd the titanium client via your link, I cant seem to locate the Launch_Titanium file...does it have a different name on your images? i'm sure i'll have others, but thats all for now |

To play here you'll need the Old Nektulos and lavastorm files. if thats what you mean by p99 setup. The .exe you will use is the eqgame.exe

thanks for the reply. when you say the old zone files, are these the ones included in the titanium download link you provide? Or must i delete them and replace with zone files from another source? apologies, i'm not very savvy when it comes to these things  |

Move these files into a Backup folder in your EQ dir.
arena . eqg
arena_EnvironmentEmitters . txt
lavastorm . eqg
nektulos . eqg
Nektulos_EnvironmentEmitters . txt
This will enable Classic Arena, Lavastorm, Nektulos

I'd advise against deleting them just in case we decide to use the new zones for something in the future. Just rename or move to a backup folder like Dre says.

Thanks for having interest in our server. Feel free to ask any other questions. Drty is the main hardware guy, I'm the community guy. I sorta jummped the gun on posting about opening up but we'll have it soon I'm as excited as you guys are to play. I also have a lot more new tools to fix the server up. The new server updates are nice! |

When I double click the eqgame.exe I get a small window popping up that says "Please run EverQuest.exe". I assume if i do this it will patch and I will have to reinstall Titanium...
any advice?

ok update, i believe this is because I have not altered my eqhost.txt. When I tried to change it to the correct "Host=login.eqemulator.net:5998" it tells me i do not have the rights to change and to contact the administrator.

update v2.0...success! I had to modify the eqhost.txt, save it to my desktop, then drag and drop it in to replace the old file. this probably wont be an issue for someone with a p99 setup coming over to the new server...but maybe it will help another noob like me. |

does this client support higher/custom resolutions other than those listed in the options settings? I tried inputting mine into the eqclient config, but they dont seem to take.

Hey Khelbaen I'm not very experienced with different EQ clients. I'm currently running on the server with the Titanium client. You should use the default resolutions for your client. If you are looking to make some changes I would check the EQEMULATOR Forums for that stuff.
